Formerly a submarine facility, the Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly is today a world-class center for sailing and offshore racing. About fifty boats of varying varieties are getting ready for the tournament on Lorient Lake due to the high caliber of its nautical location and port infrastructures.

Lorient's Enclos du Port, often known as the city's Peristyle, was formerly home to East India Company structures. The Scorff forms its eastern boundary, and the city's floating basin forms its southern.
Most of the buildings were destroyed during the city's bombardment in January and February of 1943. However, several that have become symbolic of the town were preserved.
From the Lorient marina (on the side facing the Quai des Indes, close to the pier for maritime links to Locmiquélic), this lovely urban promenade is worth exploring all the way to the Enclos du Port au Péristyle.
You can ride your bike or walk there. Construction along the Scorff and on the Lorient harbor side of the site was completed in 2018. Located near the city's heart, this spot is ideal for downtime. Skateboarders also frequent this area.
It is possible to continue the hike up the Faoudic hill. You'll be near the Moulins de l'Amirauté and Tour de la Découverte.
