Nantes Airport is located just 8km, or 5 miles from the city centre of Nantes, which is one of the larger cities in the Pays de la Loire region of France. It is a public airport operated by CCI de Nantes, and has a capacity to handle three million passengers per annum. These special types of cars have low availability, and Europcar will confirm their reservations within forty-eight hours, through email correspondence. Most car rental companies allow one way hires, which are sometimes a more convenient option for passengers arriving at Nantes Airport. One way hires can be delivered to another rental location, either within France or even in another country. Europcar one way hires are usually free of charge if returned within France.

Additional services from Europcar include the rental of optional items of equipment, for example, child seats, luggage racks and satellite navigation systems, and from Nantes Airport, hand controls for disabled drivers may also be available.
